Mr. Maia is a recognized entrepreneur, strategist and global thought leader in analytics and utilities sector, with more than 20 years of experience in leadership and innovation. With a strong multicultural passion, Mr. Maia has led Choice’s international expansion, managing more than 10 nationalities successfully, reaching a CAGR over 80% and bringing more than USD 1 billion savings for its customers. Mr. Maia holds a BS in Computer Engineering from PUC-Rio, has participated at Babson College Alliance Program and holds Executive Education at INSEAD.

Mr. Pimenta joined CHOICE as Vice President Finance in december 2014 and is presently responsible for CHOICE´s worldwide finance functions at the Luxembourg headquarters.He brings 25 years of financial and management experience in international companies and in multicultural organizations. Mr. Pimenta began his career in auditing at an international accounting firm. He later moved on to an internal audit position, before accepting a finance management position at a multinational firm. Mr. Pimenta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Administration. He is a certified accountant, with a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting Management.
Human Resources Director
With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management in the IT sector, Ms. Casado is the Human Resources Director at CHOICE, joining the firm in 2001. Her responsibilities include managing Human Resource systems, employee training and development, recruiting, benefits, Expats, occupational health, contract with third parties and general administrative issues. Ms. Casado also managed office construction build out for the CHOICE facilities in Luxembourg, Turkey, Poland and Colombia. Ms. Casado has a Psychology degree from the Federal University Fluminense, and a Master’s Degree in Social Psychology from the College of Marin in California.

Mr. Costa is responsible for negotiating, leadership and implementation of large projects for major companies in the electricity sector such as EPM (Colombia and Panama), TPPDL (India), SEC (Saudi Arabia), CPFL Group (Brazil), Cemig (Brazil), Light (Brazil), Neoenergia Group (Brazil), Enel Group (Spain and Brazil), AES (El Salvador), CNFL (Costa Rica) and others. Since 2003, Mr. Costa has worked for the Utilities sector as a director of innovative projects in the areas of planning and energy trading, revenue assurance and research. A collaborating professor and researcher at PUC-Rio, Brazil, Mr. Costa holds a Master degree in Metrology Quality and Innovation (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro - PUC-Rio); Specialization course in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ); other Specialization in Project Management and Business Processes at PUC-Rio.

His duties include assessing current processes, recommending software upgrades, and directing the delivery team on the best processes. Mr. Carvalhaes is a professional with extensive experience in the IT market, graduated in Computer Science with an emphasis on Systems Analysis and an MBA in Business Administration. He is responsible for strategic development, management and deployment of QA resources and software development, ensure application design to manage and maintain data security and integrity of Revenue Intelligence, using practices of best-case packaged software release management and helping communication upward as well as throughout project teams.
