Light, the electric distribution company in the state of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, renewed its contract with Choice Technologies for more 5 years, extending a partnership that started in 2007. The utility company that serves more than 4.5 million consumers, aims to continue reducing the commercial losses. Implementation and operation of Revenue Intelligence in the EPM Group to fight non-technical losses in Energy, Water and Gas Utilities – a successful experience. The article describes the project implemented for reduction and control of non-technical losses, supported by the Revenue Intelligence software on top of HANA in -memory database. This analytics software, with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, operates on EPM Group’s electricity, water and gas network data.
